What Brinmi is

Brinmi helps people who want something brought to them find travelers who can carry it. We provide the listings, the chat and the record of what was agreed. We aren't a shipper, courier, customs broker or seller, and we aren't a party to any agreement between a requester and a traveler.

Your account

You must be at least 18. Tell the truth about who you are, your trips and your requests, and keep your account to yourself. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts someone at risk.

What can't be carried

  • Illegal drugs, and medicines that aren't prescribed to the person carrying them
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and anything flammable or under pressure
  • Cash, gold, and valuables for someone else
  • Fake or counterfeit goods
  • Meat, fresh food, plants, seeds or animal products, unless both countries allow them
  • Alcohol or tobacco above what a traveler may bring in
  • Anything else the airline or either country doesn't allow

Only carry what you bought yourself or watched being packed. Never carry a sealed package.

If you're a traveler

What's in your luggage is your responsibility. You must follow the rules of the airline and of every country you pass through, including declaring goods and paying any duty. Check the rules before you offer. Brinmi doesn't check items, trips or identities, and doesn't give legal or customs advice.

If you're a requester

Describe the item honestly, and only ask for things that are legal to buy, carry and receive. You pay the agreed item price and carry fee directly to the traveler when you meet. Meet in a public place.

Payments

Brinmi doesn't handle or hold money, and can't refund anyone. Don't pay before you have the item.

Problems between people

If something goes wrong, use “Report a problem” in the delivery. Our team will look at the conversation and say what we think should happen, but we can't force anyone to act, and you remain responsible for your own dealings. In an emergency, or if you think a crime has happened, contact the police.

No guarantees

Brinmi is provided as it is. We don't promise that a request will be matched, that a trip will happen, or that an item will arrive, and ratings only reflect what other people said. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost, damaged, seized or undelivered items, or for what people do when they use Brinmi.

Changes

We may update these terms as Brinmi changes. If you keep using Brinmi after an update, you accept the new terms. See also our Privacy policy.
